He didn't seem to do that, he just bit at my sleeve for a minute and I pulled away realizing what he was doing, and he kept doing it. after he was done he tried to find somewhere comfy to lay, and I figured he was probably ready at that point to go back in his cage.

He could have been anointing! My hedgie likes to anoint himself with my smell. They do it when they come across a smell they really like so I take it as a compliment :]
